Call for art: "Grounded"

Group exhibition at Aplomb gallery in Dover, NH and in the MetaVerse at ArtGate International

March 8 -April 27, 2025

Deadline: January 15, 2025

Submit up to 5 portrait based or figurative works that related to the theme "Grounded" literally or abstractly. Juried by Gallery Director Danielle Festa. There is an option to apply to be considered for the VR exhibition and digital frame exclusively. All exhibition entry and commission costs are donated towards The Aplomb Project, a 501(c)3 dedicated to supporting trauma survivors with the healing power of art.

About the Juror:

Danielle Festa has been working as a conceptual realist since graduating with a BFA concentrating in painting from UMASS Amherst in 2007. She has curated exhibitions in Boston, Somerville, MA, Dover, NH and in Virtual Reality. She is a member of NHAA, The Women's Caucus of the Arts and was the Director of the first Friday Dover Art Walk from 2017-2020. She now owns and operates Aplomb Contemporary Portrait Gallery where she exhibits group shows, solo shows and presents her tribute oil portraits via The Aplomb Project.
