Submission Guidelines
Choose to submit up to 3 works for our soft opening exhibition that relates to healing, transformation or growth. This exhibition will open along side "In Their Shoes" an exhibit exploring what it means to walk a path of resilience. If you would like to submit decorated shoes, in addition to hanging work, we welcome that. Juried by Gallery Director Danielle Festa. All exhibition entry and commission costs are donated towards The Aplomb Project, a 501(c)3 dedicated to supporting trauma survivors with the healing power of art.
Danielle Festa has been working as a conceptual realist since graduating with a BFA concentrating in painting from UMASS Amherst in 2007. She has curated exhibitions in Boston, Somerville, MA, Dover, NH and in Virtual Reality. She is a member of NHAA, The Women's Caucus of the Arts and was the Director of the first Friday Dover Art Walk from 2017-2020. She now owns and operates Aplomb Contemporary Portrait Gallery where she exhibits group shows, solo shows and presents her tribute oil portraits via The Aplomb Project.
