Acryla Gouache, 2021

In painting sleeping figures, I portray the intrinsic dignity of the human person. While we often equate our value with our accomplishments, my paintings demonstrate that beauty is inherent to the human person by painting people in a state of rest. The beauty of this vulnerable state is accented by meticulous details in soft, cozy textures and warm colors, creating a sense of intimacy and closeness.
